Do It Yourself (DIY) Christmas Wreaths!

It's that time of year again where everyone has wreaths hanging on doors. This year, why not try making a unique homemade one. It will add some character to your home and space.

White pom pom wreath

Hot-glue fuzzy white pom-poms over three small foam wreaths, overlapping the pom-poms to fill in any gaps. Cut a length of ribbon and hot-glue the wreaths to the ribbon. Tie extra ribbon into a simple bow and hot-glue it in place at the top. You can play around with colour as well, you can use colour pom poms or sparkly. Don't forget there is lot's of ribbon choices too, so get creative!

Yarn Ball Wreath

Love this wreath! You can play around with colour and customize it by choosing different combinations of yarn. All you need is a foam wreath, and 2 different sizes of foam balls. Then wrap the yarn around the wreath and balls. Glue gun the balls onto the foam wreath and then your done!! If you are placing the wreath outside make sure to use a protective finish. (Aerosol waterproofing spray)

Button Wreath

This is a great wreath to make! Cut out a wreath shape using cardboard and hot glue various sized buttons on until it is full. As well this wreath can be customized to colours of your preference. Hang with holiday themed ribbon and place on backs of chairs or doors to greet guests.

Frozen Cranberry Wreath

Such a unique idea for an outdoor wreath. However you'll have to make sure it is going to be below zero for hanging out this wreath. Pour 1 to 2 inches of water into the bottom of a fluted cake pan or gelatin mold. Fill with cranberries, freeze, then shake loose. Tie the wreath to the door or porch rail with a red woolen scarf, and tuck in fresh evergreen or holly branches.
